This is another of my song-inspired works, an image that kept appearing in my mind while listening to this song: [link] Nothing Else Matters by David Garrett.

I drew it while we were on holiday in Italy and I was listening to this song the whole way through, just to stay in the mood. I drew it from my imagination, which means I used no reference whatsoever and I am very proud with how it ended up.

Drawn with black and white pencil on grey paper, in roughly five hours.

I drew it with black and white pencil on grey paper.
I know, I do too! They always give off a wonderful atmosphere.

In this picture I simply tried to express the feeling I had when listening to that song. It was quite a difficult task, but I think I nailed it in the end. It's fascinating to see how people react to this and how they feel looking at this. Everybody feels something else because everybody has different memories which they associate with it.

I'm very happy you liked it!
