This is the result of a 4 day photoshop course we had for school. I loved doing this, somehow it made me feel very zen. And the result is really rewarding. Compared to the photo manips I did before this course, it's a huge step forward.

Aww thank you! This was definitely the most difficult photomanip I've done. Took me a while to get the stars right. But it ended up exactly like the image I had in my head. I'm really happy with it.
Yeah, it is. Brilliant story and the film is great too. But this has nothing to do with it. It's based on the fact that basically, Life evolved from a certain cocktail of atoms left over from supernovas: in other words stardust. I wanted to symbolize that in the picture and also, how small and how frail and short-lived we are in the face of the universe and infinity.
It's quite fascinating to think about stuff like that...
